I'm so very excited :-) I've been meaning to take a pottery class for years. Not so much to make bowls and mugs, but I would love to incorporate more ceramic pieces into my jewelry. I've played with ceramics a bit, but I far prefer a more hands on method of learning than through books. There are so many different types of clays, glazes, and techniques. It'll be nice to get some hands on experience with them all.
Maybe I can even replace my hodgepodge collection of crappy mugs with nice lopsided handmade ones. I'm far too much of a realist to think I'll be producing works of art any time soon :-) I'll take pics if I can.
